Exploration of propeller type and profile for a flying car. We reversed gathered data from the existing 2 blade propeller, extrapolated the learning to 3 blade open profile. The same blade profile was prototyped and tested for multiple configurations.
Design a system for an open-air architectural installation, with closely spaced steel bird structures mounted on a pole of max length 18ft. Optimized the design adhering to IS 875:Part 3 wind load codes.
An irregular shape RC concrete precast column element was lifted by two cranes on the construction site of M/s Bhate & Raje Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. at Dahanukar Colony, near Cummins campus, Pune. Two cranes were used to lift the specimen from the trailer. The failure of the pulley for one of the crane was observed during the lifting.
With Ashoka structural consultants, we optimised the design and conducted a failure mode effect analysis.

Study of boundary layer interaction of flow between tesla turbine discs for multiple disc geometry and configuration. Flow experiments were conducted by reiterating the disc designs and number + angle of the inlet nozzle to optimize the boundary layer viscosity to generate higher rpm.
A turbine generator was developed to investigate the usage of flow in a Parshall flume type open channel for power generation.
Design optimization of a paint booth to eliminate atomize floating particle and paint dust accumulation.
For the sample air filter, we had to come up with a faster method of pleating the media, which could accommodate most of our air filter media sizes. Frugally developed a manually operated pleating machine.
Cam analysis apparatus was designed for high RPM and higher load experimental conditions with added features of adjusting the spring stiffness and weight loading. Each of the support members is machined and heat treated. The overall weight of the assembly is increased to reduce the vibration for an accurate result.
